Samantha Varner started her career working with small businesses in a rather small chamber of commerce. There she learned a love for entrepreneurship, women-owned/operated business and digital marketing. Now in higher education, Samantha works relentlessly to connect alumni with their alma mater through social media and digital strategy, making sure that even when they’re miles away, alumni feel connected to their home.

 

Between her full-time career and The Social Collective Cleveland, Samantha dedicates her time to working with business owners by making them feel empowered to reach their audiences, keep their audience connected and turn that audience into life-long customers, clients and friends.

Ever since taking a social media class at Kent State, Amy Kessler knew that social media was calling her name. Since social media evolves practically every day, she loves keeping up with the trends and trying new strategies to best connect with customers

 

Amy is somewhat new to the whole 9-5 job life, working as a social media specialist in a corporate setting, which was her first gig out of college. She works to connect a niche brand with a wide range of customers through various social and digital tactics.

 

With over 4 years of public relations and social media experience through internships and jobs, Amy has found her passion is helping businesses, small and large, build social media strategies that will help tell its story and tell it to the right people.
